Dutch scientists conducted the study shows how diet affects the degree of likelihood of cancer. They analyzed the lives of about 120 thousand women and found out which products can be carcinogenic. The study has been conducted for 11 years.
The first place for risk have taken the products that contain acrylamide. Those women who received daily diet of about 40 mg of acrylamide, ill with cancer of the cervix and ovaries 2 times more often. Acrylamide - a substance formed when the long cooking product, especially when frying.
Those 40 mg of substance, which is sufficient to increase the risk by half, found in the usual pack of crisps.
In addition to chips and potato-fries, the list of carcinogenic products is chicken with crispy crust, overdone meat, and even biscuits. Scientists have long suspected carcinogens roasted because of the transgenic fats, formed during the cooking process. Now, Dutch scientists managed to prove this.
Interestingly, the acrylamide found in some dried fruit, but in much smaller concentrations.
It also significantly increases the risk of oncology products with high fat, excess in the diet of red meat and alcohol. The first doctors recommend using no more than 2 times a week and alcohol - less than 1 glass of wine a day.
According to the British Food Standards Agency, the results of the study should encourage people to deal with a more healthy diet with high content of fruit and vegetables. The EC said that the main conclusions of the study - the need for proper cooking products.
