I was getting discomfort in my left eye possibly because of not taking care of my contact lenses - I had all the symptoms of Conjuntavitis and was worried sick. But a friend of mine told me to put honey in my eye because apparently his ‘prophet muhammed’ used honey in many herbal treatments.. Astonished an having my trust in this friend.. i carried on applying pure honey to my eye that evening.. 2 days later you wouldnt of thought I even had pussing of the eye. Its cleared soo well and to read it on here after is an extra bonus.. Anyone that hates stinging in their eyes should dilute the honey, for me it was great to apply it pure because the stinging would cause a natural tearing in my eye, causing me to flush away nasty debri that had built up. A little bit of honey to your eyes after a long day at work on the PC is great, provides a natural lubricant over the eye making your eyelids glide up an down with ease.. brilliant!!

So these days I am in a habit of dropping one drop of pure honey to my eyes when I am going to bed.
