Scientists have established, that one method - cognitive revision of a situation - reduces intensity of negative emotions of the person during viewing unpleasant video. The second way of emotion suppression - emotional suppression - finally only raises activity of negative emotions.
The doctor Phillip Goldin clarify, that the main value of the given research consists in showing, in what cases the person is guided by that or different way of monitoring of own emotions and what result thus turns out.
